'Grammarly' is an automated proofreader that was designed to check a written article for grammatical errors. This program checks for grammatical errors, misspelled words, words used in the wrong context, misused punctuation, and possible plagiarism. Extra features include a vocabulary enhancement tool and the ability to automatically generate reference citation. The vocabulary enhancement tool recognizes "plain" words and, in an attempt to improve readability, offers synonymous suggestions.
